Junk removal in Carrboro: what's different

Carrboro picks up bulk waste twice a month, with items due at the curb by 7:30 a.m. on the Wednesday of your collection week; which weeks depends on which side of Hillsborough Road, Greensboro Street and Hanna Street you live. The town won't take building materials such as carpet, concrete or dirt, or batteries and hazardous materials, so renovation leftovers are a common reason to hire a hauler.
