A kit is only as easy as its drawings. A good erection set has a cover sheet listing every part number, frame cross sections with bolt callouts, a roof and wall framing plan, bracing details and panel layouts showing where each sheet starts. Ask to see a sample before ordering so you know how readable it is. Keep these drawings separate from the sealed permit set, though both describe the same building and both should stay on site during construction. Store the set somewhere dry, because rain-soaked sheets are hard to read on a windy day.
