Indoor turf field buildings in North Florida: what to know

An indoor turf building is usually the widest thing a steel contractor frames for a sports owner. The width of the field drives the cost: a clear-span frame keeps every yard open, while a multi-span frame adds a line of columns that saves steel but has to be padded and kept out of the main playing lanes. Large end doors let a mower or turf equipment in. Netting along the walls and between training zones protects the panels, and the slab or stone base is chosen with the turf product.
