Getting started

Your first coaching conversation

Bring your goals, your real schedule, and the questions you have been meaning to ask.

A note from the journal

Start with the week you actually have

A useful coaching conversation starts with your everyday life: the time you have available, what you enjoy, and what you would like to change. You do not need a perfectly formed training plan before you ask for help.

Three things to bring to the conversation

  • Your goal, in your own words. What would you like to feel more confident doing?
  • Your real schedule. Which days can you realistically protect for training?
  • Your questions. What feels unclear about coaching, independent workouts, or tracking progress?

Leave with a clearer next step

Use the conversation to understand what working together could look like and whether the approach fits your life. Ask how coached sessions connect to the work you do between visits.
