Pitching, bullpen and lesson areas in North Florida: what to know

Hitting is only part of what a training building hosts. Pitchers need mound lanes with the right distance to a plate and a backstop net, catchers need room to work, and coaches want a lesson bay with space for a tripod or a launch monitor. A strength corner with rubber flooring rounds out a facility for travel teams. Planning these spaces with the tunnels decides the building's length and width, where the doors go, and whether the floor needs a slab, turf over base, or both.
