Wash bays in North Florida: what to know

A wash bay keeps clippings and mud off the cart barn floor and the mowers clean enough to inspect. It needs a sloped slab to a drain, water and power, good lighting, and a roof that sheds the spray. What happens to the wash water matters most: clippings, sand and oil have to come out before it drains, often through a trap, a separator or a recycling unit. Put the bay where carts and mowers pass on their way back to storage.
