Read 2026-10-07. The fee schedule (dos.fl.gov/sunbiz/forms/fees/llc-fees/) lists Filing Fee $100.00 and Registered Agent Fee $25.00, both required, $125.00 for a new LLC; a certified copy is $30 and a certificate of status $5, both optional. The e-file page takes a credit or debit card and says only that a document is "processed in the order it was received", so no lead time is recorded. The instructions page says the name must include Limited Liability Company, LLC or L.L.C. and be distinguishable on the Department's records, the registered agent needs a physical street address in Florida (no P.O. box) and must sign to accept, and an effective date may be no more than five business days before or 90 days after the day the document is received. The 365-day renewal stands for the annual report: the filing period is January 1 to May 1 of the calendar year after the filing, the LLC annual report costs $138.75, a $400 late fee applies after May 1, and an entity with no report by the third Friday of September is administratively dissolved (dos.fl.gov/sunbiz/manage-business/efile/annual-report/). A permit tracked against this row comes due on May 1 of the year after it was issued, the last day before the late fee; the row does not move the date on to the following year once a report is filed, so set the permit's expiry to the next May 1 after each filing.

Scope
Operator checklist, not legal advice. Confirm every row with the issuing agency before acting on it.
Permit rules are set by the city, the county and the state separately, and they change. Rows labelled "unverified seed" were written from the general shape of the US permit ladder, not read off a current ordinance, and rows with no fee show "unknown" rather than a guess. Confirm each row with the issuing agency, then promote it with LegalCode.PermitRequirementUpsert (confidence=verified with source_url and source_checked_at_ms).
