Relationships between organizationsA relationship is one public row that ties organizations together: an agency's award to a recipient, a prime recipient's subaward, a parent's ownership, a lobbying firm's report for its client. Each sum stays within one role, one kind of amount and one source: an obligation and a subaward are different money, and two ledgers may list the same award, so they are never added together. No person is kept: nothing of a row whose party reads as a person is stored, and no address is read.
Who funded whom, who passed work down to whom and who owns whom, as public records state it, each row with its source and its day.
